While the Germans are boring us to death with their spiritless designs, the Asian automakers have become a bastion of audaciousness.  Now, you’re not going to like them all but give credit where credit is due for originality.  However, this one from Infiniti is inarguably gorgeous.  The Q60 Red Sport 400 is as sexy a coupe as you’ll see on the road today. I’ve often said that I don’t spend a lot of time on design in my reviews because you like what you like and vice versa so who cares but with an enchantress like this, attention is required. Thirteen-year-old me would have picked up this poster at Spencer Gifts back in the day it’s that worthy.  And there are some real great reds on the market right now from Mazda, Ford and Land Rover but this Dynamic Sunstone Red from Infiniti doesn’t play second fiddle to any of them.  It’s a head turner with sporty elegance.  Bolt on the optional sport exhaust and you’ve also got one of the snarliest sounding rides going.  The Q60 Red Sport is beautiful, it’s fast and it’s loud and that combination can overcome just about any warts.
With options like blind spot warning, an around view monitor with dedicated switch, cargo package and copious amounts of carbon fiber, this Q60 Red Sport 400 AWD stickers for $65,628.  On premium gas, mileage is about 21 mpg.
So for those who yawn at the sight of another BMW, Infiniti’s Q60 Red Sport is a 2-door ready to please.

When Hyundai redesigned the Sonata for the 2015 model year it decided to rein in the styling. Turns out that was a bad move as the very element that catapulted the car to huge sales success was no longer present. Learning from that mistake, the all-new 2020 Sonata is letting it all hang out.

So you’ve wanted a Range Rover for quite some time but you just keep thinking to yourself, darn it I really need a hybrid and preferably one with a plug. OK, that scenario is highly unlikely but that doesn’t mean Land Rover isn’t doing it anyway because they are. Meet the 2020 Range Rover Sport PHEV.

While their Detroit rival struggles to reinvent itself, Lincoln’s arrow is clearly pointing up. Their expanding repertoire of SUVs is arriving at just the right time, including the compact utility formerly known as the MKC, the all-new 2020 Corsair.

There’s seemingly nothing the X7 can’t do and do extremely well including parking itself and adjusting the cruise control based on speed limit signs. But the Extended Traffic Jam assistant is as close as the X7 gets to autonomous driving permitting hands-off the wheel, slow, rush hour driving with no driver intervention needed…no Cadillac Super Cruise magic here.  Heated and cooled cupholders, heated armrests, soft close doors, etc., etc. etc. I think you get the picture. Other than not having the aforementioned Luxury Seating Package, night vision and rear seat entertainment this X7 contains the full pantry of BMW convenience and safety features.  I’ve been in the new Mercedes GLS but have yet to drive it…that being said it would take something beyond spectacular to beat what BMW has delivered here.
The tester BMW has provided is a dream machine replete with nearly every feature the X7 has to offer.  So keep in mind that for about $75,000 there’s the X7 xDrive40i with 6-cylinder power.  This one however is the 50i and has a fire-breathing twin-turbo V8 and nearly $20 grand in options to arrive at an as-tested price of $112,245.  For that amount, every aspect of the X7 experience has been pushed to the limit.
