What will it look like? Will it be called the Scrambler? The buzz has been building for years. But the real question in my mind is why are people going so crazy about the new Jeep pickup truck? I suppose the timing is right seeing as how off-road trucks are suddenly hot. But I suspect that it’s our insatiable appetite for things we can no longer have that is driving this frenzy. After all, Jeep hasn’t produced a truck in over a quarter century. So here we are with a revival of the Gladiator, harkening back to a Jeep truck of the same name produced until 1972.

Foreshadowing the future of MINI, the brand’s first fully-electric car is almost ready to hit dealerships. The 2020 Cooper SE is a MINI 2-door hardtop at its core with its drive technology from parent company BMW. When the redesigned 2020 Ford Super Duty launches later this year it’ll be ready to quake with a new off-road package. Ford says they’ve designed this truck for the Super Duty customer who uses their truck for more than just work.  More ground clearance, bigger shocks, and bigger tires add more off-road capability for the outdoorsman. Pricing and specs will be announced closer to launch.
