One of the highest ranked compact cars in initial quality now adds even more value for 2016. The new Hyundai Elantra Value Edition provides $1,000 in savings by bundling a number of customer-favorite features.
For $20,025, this model adds unique 16” wheels, a sunroof, leather wrapped touch points, smart key with push button start, heated seats, and a tilt and telescoping steering wheel among other niceties.
It comes standard with a 145 horsepower, 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine and 6-speed automatic transmission. On the upper end of the Elantra Sedan spectrum is the Limited, which for 2016 receives smart key with push button start and dual automatic climate control as standard.
Other Elantra trim options include the base SE with an MSRP of $17,575 and the spirited Sport model, with a 173-horsepower 2.0-liter engine, available manual transmission, quicker steering and stiffened chassis. For 2016, the Sport is now equipped with standard cloth seats to allow for a lower MSRP.
The Elantra’s fluidic sculpture design creates the illusion of constant motion and touts overall dimensions spacious enough to push it into the mid-size class. When equipped with the Tech Package, Connected Care and Blue Link telematics come complimentary for 1-year and provide owners with safety and car care services as well as extended infotainment capabilities.
