On EX-L, a small camera mounted at the top of the front windshield can detect the presence of vehicles in your path; the Touring model uses a radar sensor located in the front of your Accord Hybrid. If the FCW system determines that you are at risk of a collision, it activates audio and visual alerts to warn you.  FCW cannot detect all objects ahead and may not detect a given object; accuracy will vary based on weather, speed and other factors. System operation affected by extreme interior heat. FCW does not include a braking function. Driver remains responsible for safely operating vehicle and avoiding collisions.

• Lane Departure Warning (LDW)[11]

A small camera mounted at the top of the front windshield tracks lane markings on the road, and it can determine when the driver is making an unindicated departure from a detected lane. Visual alerts will illuminate on the driver’s instrument panel, and the system also can provide an audible warning.

LDW only alerts drivers when lane drift is detected without a turn signal in use. LDW may not detect all lane markings or lane departures; accuracy will vary based on weather, speed and road condition. System operation affected by extreme interior heat.
