2013 GMC Terrain
The big-news surrounding GMC’s hot-selling luxury small SUV the Terrain, is that
for 2013 it is offered with company’s most ubiquitous engine – the 3.6-liter V6
with direct-injection. Replacing the smaller 3.0-liter unit, this powerplant makes huge gains in vehicle
responsiveness and refinement while delivering the same 24mpg highway fuel
economy of the FWD Terrain as before. Rated at 301 horsepower, this engine invigorates the Terrain with
exceptional performance while the 6-speed automatic keeps the action
smooth. The base engine remains a2.4-liter Ecotec 4-cylinder. And better yet is the Terrain’s even suppler ride
quality thanks to the use of new dual-flow dampers which also provide improved
handling. The IntelliLink infotainment system debuts with color touch navigation while an advanced Safety Package
bundles high-tech features Forward Collision Alert, Lane Departure Warning and Rear Park Assist. An all-new Terrain
Denali model adds a new top-trim choice to the lineup with unique styling and interior appointments. SLE and SLT trims
levels in front or all-wheel drive round out the model range. Pricing starts at just under $27,000.
