The Veloster is one of the most unique and affordable sports coupes on the market, offering a 3-door take on frugal yet expressive fun. It’s been a huge hit thus far and now Hyundai is taking it to their ultimate performance height. This is the new 2014 Veloster Turbo R-Spec, featuring unique design cues such as red exterior accents, an enhanced chassis with R-Spec specific suspension and steering tuning , a short-throw B&M Racing Sport Shifter, R-Spec interior details and a 1.6-liter, direct-injected turbo that owners can easily tune for greater output. Stock, it produces 201 horsepower and is rated at 24mpg city/33mpg highway. It’s available in 4 select colors; the extra charge Elite White, Ultra Black, Sprint Gray and this Marathon Blue. And contrary to what you might think, the R-Spec has the lowest price point in the Veloster Turbo lineup. Built only with a 6-speed manual transmission, pricing starts at $22,100. Inside, R-Spec models receive Active Sound Design which injects more auditory powertrain goodness to the cabin.
