2013 GMC Acadia

The 2013 GMC Acadia sees a significant freshening this year, introducing new exterior styling, greater interior versatility and more safety features including the industry’s first front center air bag, as well as a new infotainment system.  The lineup ranges from the base SLE, to mid-trim SLT all the way to the range topping Denali, all with 7 or 8-passenger seating configurations with either front or all-wheel drive.  GM’s workhorse engine, the direct-injected 3.6-liter V6 is teamed to a 6-speed automatic transmission generating 288 horsepower.  Gas mileage is rated as high as 17mpg city/24mpg highway for front-drive models.  New low-flow shocks and struts improve ride and handling. Towing is maxed at 5,200 pounds.  Families will love the Acadia’s SmartSlide seating system which allows for easy access to the most adult-friendly 3rd row in the business.  And when the seats are folded flat, you’re left with class-leading maximum cargo space.  And the Acadia isn’t a stranger to luxury amenities.  With features like head-up display, remote start, heated and cooled front seats and a dual panel sunroof, the Acadia can be as tony as it is utilitarian.  Pricing starts at around $34,000 with a top of the line, fully optioned Acadia Denali stickering for over $51,000.
