2013 Buick Encore
Just as they did with the new Verano sedan, Buick is breaking the mold once again with the all-new 2013 Encore – a small, luxury crossover with the ability to seat 5. This versatile and efficient package is designed to appeal to a new audience of buyers. Encore delivers everything crossover buyers want…higher driving position, available all-wheel drive and contemporary styling… but on a smaller scale. Even so there is still over 48 cubic feet of storage space with the rear seats folded. Power is derived from a 1.4-liter turbo 4-cylinder and 6-speed automatic making the Encore highly efficient. It’s rated at 138 horsepower and nets 25mpg city/33mpg highway on front-drive models. It also uses regular gas. To enhance its Quiet Tuning feature, Buick called on the experts at Bose and applied their Active Noise Cancellation to keep the cabin ultra-quiet. Three trim levels…Convenience, Leather and Premium bundle a host of luxury convenience and safety features onto the base Encore while a catalog of dealer accessories like bike carriers add versatility. Pricing starts at just under $25,000 and rises to around $30,000 fully loaded.
