2015 Toyota Sienna First Look
The self-proclaimed “Swagger Wagon” is giving parents and kids alike more bragging rights for 2015. The refreshed Toyota Sienna minivan showcases a new grille, LED daytime running lights and upgraded headlamps. From behind the wheel, there’s a stiffened chassis for better drivability. And the interior styling has been updated with new materials and stitched surfaces, a more intuitive center stack layout, a new gauge cluster with a multi-information display, a larger infotainment screen and an available Dualview Blu-Ray DVD Entertainment Center with multiple media inputs. On the safety front, the new Sienna gains an additional LATCH point for another car seat – now 4 instead of 3 – and raises its number of airbags to a class-leading 8. Ranging from the base Sienna L all the way to the luxurious Limited, all models come standard with 266 horses of V6 power and a 6-speed automatic transmission. And the Sienna continues to be the only minivan on the market offered with all-wheel drive. Seven and 8-passenger configurations are available, depending on trim. This AWD Limited model is priced from about $43,000 and contains a wood and leather-trimmed steering wheel, an overhead console with Safety Connect – a subscription based telematics service to be used for emergencies, power front seats with driver’s side memory, the Smart Key System with Push Button Start, a Split & Stow 3rd Row seat and Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
