2015 Kia K900 – First Look
Kia’s maturation process continues with the introduction of the all-new 2015 KIA K900 – the company’s first-ever rear-drive V8 flagship. A V6 variant is also available. Aiming to redefine consumer perception and expectations of the brand, the K900 arrives as Kia celebrates its 20th anniversary in the U.S. market. Playing in the luxury market, Kia instills the K900 with a sense of opulence, a long list of standard equipment, first-class accommodations and advanced technology. The top of the line V8 model equipped with the VIP package adds even more luxury amenities including reclining outboard rear seats. The K900 Premium V6 has available Luxury and Technology packages. The nearly 120” wheelbase provides the K900 with a substantial road presence basked with the refined muscle of a 420 horsepower 5.0-liter V8. Those who choose the 3.8-liter V6 won’t be lacking in energy either with this motor generating 311 horsepower. Both come mated to the same 8-speed automatic transmission. Kia’s first Head-Up Display, camera-based Advanced Smart Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection and Lane Departure Warning highlight the high tech safety features while a 900-watt, 17-speaker Lexicon audio system sooths the senses. A 3-year no-cost scheduled maintenance program and a K900 or Cadenza loan vehicle during service visits sweetens the deal.
