2015 Chrysler 200 – First Look
The high-volume, midsize sedan segment has a new player for which the stalwarts better watch out. The all-new 2015 Chrysler 200 leaves nothing to the status quo, breaking new ground in a multitude of areas. Based on an Alfa Romeo chassis, the 200 promises premium driving dynamics with exceptional ride and handling characteristics – even in poor weather conditions with an available all-wheel drive system. Muscular yet simply elegant with a coupe-like appearance, the 200 debuts the new face of Chrysler. The new Tigershark 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine produces 184 horsepower and achieves fuel economy estimated at 35mpg highway while the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 generates a best-in-class 295 horsepower. A segment-first 9-speed automatic transmission with rotary e-shift, sport mode and paddle shifters translate the motion. Attention to detail and the use of high-quality materials flanking state-of-the-art technology and clever storage features make the cabin a sight to behold. Built in Michigan, the 2015 Chrysler 200 comes in 4 different models: LX, Limited, the sporty 200S and the premium 200C.
