2015 Ford Mustang – First Look
Its pedigree is solidified by 50 years of continuous production. But America’s love affair with the Ford Mustang goes well beyond its longevity. No car symbolizes the freedom of driving more than the original pony car. And now it’s time to take the Mustang to a global audience and modernize it without losing its unmistakable personality. The all-new 2015 Ford Mustang sports a lower, wider stance with a sleeker profile and a contemporary execution of its signature shark-bite front fascia. Available in fastback Coupe and Convertible, the Mustang is powered by upgraded versions of Ford’s 3.7-liter V6 and 5.0-liter V8 engines, the latter yielding more than 420 horsepower in the GT model. Joining this duo for the first time is an all-new, fuel efficient 2.3-liter EcoBoost 4-cylinder delivering more than 305 horsepower with the use of a twin-scroll turbocharger. An independent rear suspension upgrades the car’s handling. A significant amount of new technology is found inside as well with enhanced information, control and connectivity including switchgear to access Selectable Drive Modes. High-end driver assist features including Blind Spot detection, cross-traffic alert and adaptive cruise help make this the most technologically advanced Mustang ever.
