Dodge calls the venerable Charger the world’s only four-door muscle car and for 2015 it’s been given a new exterior and powertrain updates that pair an 8-speed automatic transmission to both V6 and V8 equipped models. Models include SE, SXT, R/T and R/T Road & Track and all receive new wheels with sizes up to 20” and come in 2 Special heritage colors; TorRed and B5 Blue. As for muscle, customers can choose from the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 making up to 300 horsepower and earning as high as 31mpg highway or the legendry 5.7-liter HEMI V-8, pushing out 370 horsepower and now with 3 more gears for maximum performance and efficiency. As such, the Charger can deliver 0-to-60mph performance in the high-5 seconds. Rear and all-wheel drive models are available. New interior styling and materials bring a premium feel to the Charger, including a 3-spoke steering wheel, a 7” reconfigurable gauge cluster and a choice of 8 new trim and color combinations. All the latest tech is here too, both for safety and entertainment like full-speed Forward Collsion Warning-Plus and the ability to turn the Charger into a Wi-Fi hot spot. Dodge’s 100th anniversary is being celebrated with big changes to the Charger and Challenger.
