2015 Chevrolet Cruze – First Look:
Updating its wardrobe to better match its Chevy siblings, the 2015 Cruze borrows exterior styling cues from the Impala and Malibu including LED daytime running lights on LT and LTZ trims. Several new exterior and interior color choices are also offered. Big tech updates highlight the interior enhancements with the introduction of OnStar 4G LTE with available Wi-Fi hotspot. 10 times faster than 3G, each Cruze can accommodate 7 devices at one time. And with Siri Eyes Free, iPhone users can finally use text messaging features safely with only voice commands. The Cruze is the cornerstone of Chevy’s small car lineup and is available in LS, LT, sporty RS and luxurious LTZ models including the Cruze Eco rated at 42mpg highway and the Cruze Diesel reaching 46mpg making it the most efficient non-hybrid car in America with a range up to 717 miles per tank. Gasoline engines include a 1.8-liter 4-cylinder and 1.4-liter turbo – both with 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions. Other changes for 2015 include revised cupholders, the trunk release relocated to the center console and the door lock switches relocated to the front doors.
